COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

December 18th 2010

Thanks to everyone for volunteering at the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery fundraiser in downtown Spokane .  Everyone had a great time helping kids shop for their family and raising money for the cause.  The VBCN is a great organization that helps parents who are having difficulty providing safe shelter and care for their children.

Another visit by the blood bank - thanks to all for participating!

Team DIVCO spent Saturday morning at the Ronald McDonald house in Spokane.  The RMH provides support and housing for families with children who are being cared for at local hospitals.  The team cleaned the DIVCO guest room, brought out and cleaned the summer playground equipment, cleaned up the landscaping, and cooked a BBQ lunch for the guests.  Thanks to all that dedicated their Saturday morning to this work.

The Inland Northwest Blood Bank showed up at DIVCO for it's quarterly withdrawal.  No one passed out this time!

October 10th, 2009 

Today we participated in the Memory Walk for the Inland North West Chapter of the Alzheimers Association. Despite the cold weather all DIVCO employees and pets made it successfully around the course.  This event raises badly needed funds for Alzheimer's research.
